In 1981, in Anchorage's old warehouse district backed by the railroad delivery tracks, Alaska Marble & Granite, Inc. opened its doors as the first stone fabrication shop in Alaska.
For decades, Alaska Marble & Granite, Inc. has grown in product inventory, staff, and technology. From a small enterprise barely large enough to maintain the owners and one other individual, working on installations during the day and fabrication at night, we've grown to support over 10 employees who work in various stages of the administration, customer service, fabrication, and installation.
In 2002, the business moved to a larger facility, creating room for new equipment, a much larger inventory, and a spacious showroom displaying the company's expanded products and demonstrating our commitment to personalization and creativity with each customer.
Throughout the years, we have striven to maintain the highest quality and selection of stone products in Alaska. Today, more than 35 years later, Alaska Marble & Granite, Inc. remains a source of inspiration, expertise, and distinctive products for the style-minded homeowner and design professional.
